170M1369-IEC fuse-Bussmann

170M1369 is an IEC type high speed fuse from Bussmann, fuse ratings at 160A 690V, square body. Datasheet available in attachment.

Someone may be confusing about:

What's the difference between IEC fuse and UL fuse standard?

IEC and UL standards are for low-voltage HRC fuses.

Main differences are:

(1), IEC low-voltage fuses do not include miniature fuses,  UL includes miniature fuses;

(2), The concept of UL fuse as defined in IEC shall be fuse link;

(3), The fuse rated voltage and current of the UL are different from IEC, especially AC 125V, 250V, 300 V; 

(4), The agreed time and current requirements of IEC and uL is different,  the value of  I_nf and I_f  is greater than the corresponding value of UL;

(5), IEC is mainly focus on power loss on fuse link, UL pay more attention on the temperature rise value;

(6), UL specifies that fuse support accessories withstand voltage tests is after the current test, the IEC specifies can test withstand voltage under normal conditions; 

(7), In UL standard, Some testing items are tested after the moisture test ; IEC no such rule.
